Warehouse Supervisor - Temporary to Permanent
Location: South East London
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturdays), 09:00 - 17:30
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to start in a temporary position with the potential to become a permanent member of our team.
The Role: As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations. You will lead and manage a small team, ensuring all daily targets and objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and motivate the warehouse team to ensure a high level of productivity and accuracy.
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of goods.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory control and stock levels.
Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Plan and adjust staffing levels to meet operational demands and deadlines.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.
Assist with the training of new team members and provide ongoing support and coaching.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operational flow.About You:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or similar logistics environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
A hands-on approach and a commitment to getting the job done.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
