We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Diagnostic Van Technician at a reputable Volkswagen dealership in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced vehicle technician specialising in diagnostics who seeks to develop their career within a manufacturer-backed environment. The role offers competitive remuneration, ongoing training, and clear progression pathways.

Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
Use manufacturer technical data to identify issues accurately and efficiently
Conduct repairs and routine servicing to manufacturer standards
Ensure all work is completed with high accuracy, quality, and timeliness as a Van Technician
Support workshop productivity and contribute to team development
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
Keep up to date with manufacturer technical bulletins and training requirementsRequirements of a Van Technician:

Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Minimum of 3 years workshop experience, including diagnostic work
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and electrical skills
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
Ability to work effectively within a busy dealership environment
Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
