PLM Business analyst- California
I'm currently supporting a leading global consultancy on behalf of one of their major international clients and am looking to speak with experienced General PLM Business Analysts for an exciting PLM transformation programme in the United States.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale migration project, working closely with business stakeholders to support the transition from Teamcenter to PTC.
Role Overview
The successful consultant will act as the local Business Analyst, representing the global project team and working directly with business users to conduct gap analysis, gather requirements and support the PLM migration programme.
You will play a key role in ensuring business requirements are captured, understood and translated effectively throughout the project life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct business and process gap analysis.
- Gather and analyse business requirements.
- Act as the local representative for the global functional lead based in France.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and project teams throughout the migration.
- Support workshops, process definition and business alignment.
- Contribute towards UAT preparation and end-user training activities.
Required Experience
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst on PLM projects.
- Previous experience working with Teamcenter and/or PTC.
- Experience supporting PLM migration or transformation programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and define business requirements.
Languages
- English - Mandatory
- French - Nice to have
Location
Two positions are available:
- California
- Orlando, Florida
Consultants should be based within commuting distance or willing to travel to one of these locations.
Working Pattern
- On-site attendance required during project kick-off and business workshops.
- Remote working available for the remainder of the assignment.
Contract Details
- Start Date: September/Mid-September 2026
- Initial Duration: Until the end of December 2026
- Extension: Expected through 2027 (UAT & Training phases)
- Workload: Full-time preferred (part time considered with a minimum commitment of 10 days per month)
