We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records, and leading a small team to achieve operational targets.

The Role for Warehouse Team Leader

Reporting into the wider operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, managing stock accuracy, and ensuring materials are available to support production requirements. You will lead by example, providing guidance and support to team members while driving high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities for Warehouse Team Leader

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and inventory activities.
Ensure goods are received, checked, counted, and booked into the system accurately.
Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock checks.
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Manage inventory transactions through ERP/MRP systems.
Ensure FIFO principles and stock management best practices are followed.
Prioritise workloads and communicate urgent material requirements effectively.
Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and other departments.
Support, train, and develop warehouse team members.
Maintain compliance with warehouse procedures, health and safety requirements, and company standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and inventory operations.
What We're Looking For for this Warehouse Team Leader

Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, inventory, or materials management environment.
Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating teams.
Strong understanding of inventory control, stock accuracy, cycle counting, and inventory management processes.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Positive and flexible approach with a strong team-oriented mindset.
