Alexander Steele Recruitment are working with an exciting food manufacturing business who are looking to expand their engineering team with the addition of Multi-Skilled Engineers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical and mechanical engineering background within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with experience fault finding, maintaining and improving production machinery.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment to maximise uptime and minimise downtime.
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently, ensuring production targets and quality standards are maintained.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and overall equipment performance.
* Complete electrical fault finding, including work with sensors, motors, drives and control systems.
* Carry out mechanical maintenance activities including repairs, servicing, adjustments and component replacements.
* Work closely with production teams to resolve breakdowns quickly and safely, minimising disruption to operations.
* Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with company health and safety standards and engineering procedures.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and support the delivery of engineering KPIs across the site.
On Offer
* £55,500 p.a.
* 4 on 4 off shift pattern – rotating days and nights
* Overtime available to increase earnings
