The Role
Working from the workshop, you'll be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, repair, and testing of a wide range of lifting equipment, ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for hire.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect, service, maintain, and repair lifting equipment.
* Carry out thorough examinations and testing in line with current legislation and company procedures.
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
* Ensure all equipment meets safety and quality standards before being returned to service.
* Complete relevant inspection and service documentation.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure customer requirements are met.
About You
* Previous experience working with lifting equipment is essential.
* LEEA qualification is highly desirable, although strong candidates with relevant lifting industry experience will also be considered.
* Good mechanical aptitude with strong fault-finding skills.
* A good understanding of health and safety procedures.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
