LAB are currently supporting a leading construction consultancy based in Mexborough is looking to take on a Site manager, with on-the-job training!!!!

This role is national so travel will be required throughout the UK, therefore a driving license is essential. Culture fit is always the main driver for my client, however, experience and an interest to pursue a career in the Construction Sector is a must for success in this role.

You will receive:

Valid SMSTS card

First aid trained

Health & Safey certification

Experience in construction refurb and maintenance within the Commercial sector

What You’ll Do:

Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

Monitor the quality of construction work, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.

Effectively manage and coordinate all aspects of commercial construction projects, including procurement, logistics, subcontractor management, and project reporting.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and all stakeholders to ensure compliance with project specifications, budget, and timeline.

Allocate and manage resources, including labour, equipment, and materials effectively to optimise project efficiency and minimise delays.

Regularly monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide timely updates to project stakeholders, including senior management and clients.

Prepare accurate and detailed project documentation, including progress and project close-out reports.

Manage variations and change across all works packages with the Project Manager.

See all aspects of quality and safety through to completion of works.

Driven and eager to learn

Switched on

Computer literate

Great verbal and written skills

Assertive, with a natural leadership skillset

Good at keeping to tight deadlines

Experience of working on a construction site, on the tools or management

Benefits:

Qualified salary up to £60k

Start rate £15ph

Overtime time and a half after 45 hours and nights, double pay Sunday and Bank Holidays

Weekly pay

30 days' holiday, inclusive of Statutory Bank Holidays
