Manufacturing
Immediate Start
Annual Salary
Full-Time
A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to take on a pivotal leadership role within a values-led, international FMCG manufacturing group.

This is a senior operational leadership role, positioned as the number two on site, offering both strategic influence and day-to-day ownership of a complex, high-performing manufacturing operation.

Leading a 24/7 facility, you will be responsible for delivering excellence across safety, quality, service, and cost, while shaping a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. You will play a key role in driving operational standards, developing leadership capability across the shop floor, and ensuring the site is well-positioned for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

*

Take full operational ownership of a multi-shift manufacturing environment, ensuring consistent delivery against targets

*

Act as deputy to the Site Director, leading the site in their absence and supporting external audits and customer visits

*

Lead, coach, and develop Shift Leaders and front-line teams to build a high-performing, engaged culture

*

Drive operational efficiency across end-to-end manufacturing and high-speed packing processes

*

Optimise line performance through effective planning, changeover management, and OEE improvement

*

Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Quality teams to minimise downtime and maintain compliance

*

Embed continuous improvement methodologies across the site, focusing on waste reduction, yield, and efficiency

*

Use data and performance metrics to identify trends, solve problems, and support investment decisions

What We’re Looking For

*

A proven Manufacturing, Production, or Operations leader within fast-paced manufacturing or automated warehouse / distirbution environments

*

Experience leading large, multi-shift teams in a 24/7 environment

*

A track record of delivering measurable improvements through Lean or CI methodologies

*

Commercial awareness with the ability to manage KPIs, performance data, and operational budgets

*

A confident and credible leader who can influence at all levels and remain calm under pressure

This is more than a traditional Manufacturing Manager position. It offers the chance to step into a highly visible leadership role within a purpose-driven business, where sustainability, quality, and people development are central to decision-making.

You will have the autonomy to shape operational performance, contribute to longer-term site strategy, and play a key role in building a resilient, future-focused manufacturing function.
