The Role
We're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive sponsorship revenue across a portfolio of established healthcare events.
You'll be responsible for identifying and securing new sponsors, helping organisations increase their brand awareness, generate high-quality leads and connect with key decision-makers across the healthcare sector.
This is a predominantly phone-based sales role, supported by email and Microsoft Teams meetings. Face-to-face meetings are limited, giving you more time to focus on selling, although you'll attend each event to meet your clients, strengthen relationships and maximise future commercial opportunities.
The role is fully remote, with only occasional visits to the office for meetings, collaboration and team events.
What You'll Be Doing
* Generating new sponsorship revenue across a portfolio of healthcare events.
* Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to signed agreement.
* Building relationships with senior decision-makers across healthcare suppliers and service providers.
* Understanding client objectives and creating tailored sponsorship packages.
* Delivering sales presentations over the phone and via Microsoft Teams.
* Negotiating commercial agreements and maximising sponsorship value.
* Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM.
* Attending events to support sponsors, build long-term relationships and identify further commercial opportunities.
What We're Looking For
* Proven success in B2B new business sales.
* A consistent track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
* Excellent communication and consultative selling skills.
* Confidence selling over the phone and via Microsoft Teams.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
* Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working remotely.
Experience selling sponsorship, exhibitions, events, media, advertising or other consultative B2B solutions would be highly advantageous, although exceptional new business sales professionals from other sectors will also be considered.
