Long Term Futures is recruiting a passionate and motivated KS2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the West Bridgford area from September 2026.

About the Role

As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that enable every pupil to achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

* Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
* Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel supported to succeed
* Differentiating learning to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities and learning styles
* Monitoring pupil progress through effective assessment and adapting teaching accordingly
* Preparing pupils for end-of-year assessments where appropriate
* Working closely with Teaching Assistants to maximise pupil progress and engagement
* Building strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community
* Contributing to the wider life of the school through staff meetings, CPD and extracurricular activities

This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering outstanding teaching and creating a classroom culture where children are challenged, inspired and encouraged to become confident, independent learners.

Ideal Candidate Profile

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
* Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Passionate about raising attainment and supporting every child to succeed
* Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills
* Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice
