Our client is one of the UK's leading residential developers, renowned for delivering high-quality homes and creating thriving communities across Scotland. Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of developments, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple live housing developments across the West of Scotland.

The Role:

Reporting to the Construction Director, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of several housing developments, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with Site Managers, Commercial, Technical and Sales teams, you'll provide leadership, guidance and strategic oversight across your developments while maintaining excellent relationships with subcontractors and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple residential developments from inception through to completion.
Lead, mentor and support Site Managers to achieve exceptional performance.
Ensure all developments meet programme, budget, quality and customer service targets.
Drive health and safety standards, ensuring full compliance with company policies and legislation.
Monitor construction programmes and proactively resolve any delays or operational issues.
Work collaboratively with Commercial, Technical and Customer Care departments.
Carry out regular site inspections and performance reviews.
Manage subcontractor performance and build strong working relationships.
Produce accurate progress reports for senior management.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all sites.

You'll ideally have:

Extensive experience within volume housebuilding.
A strong track record of successfully managing multiple residential developments.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Outstanding organisational and communication abilities.
Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
A thorough understanding of NHBC standards and current building regulations.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification.
