Clarence Recruitment is working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Lincoln to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Geography for a full-time position starting in the new academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Geography Teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to join a supportive Humanities department where high-quality teaching and learning are at the heart of everything they do.
The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, developing their understanding of the world around them while fostering curiosity about physical and human geography, sustainability, and global issues.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes achievement and progress
Monitor and assess student attainment, providing effective feedback and support
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
Contribute to the continued development of the Geography curriculum
Support the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and events
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is currently completing teacher training (ECTs welcome)
Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
Can motivate and inspire students of varying abilities
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
Has high expectations for student achievement and personal development
Works collaboratively as part of a supportive and successful team
