We are now recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join an established business based in the Ledbury area. The Quality Engineer will support the Quality Manager in ensuring that all Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental systems are maintained to meet ISO9001, ISO13485 and ISO14001. The Quality Engineer will also work to improve quality systems to meet the required standards.
As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for :
* Maintaining Quality Management systems for ISO 13485 and ISO 9001
* Support 3rd party external audits, ensuring compliance standards are met
* Carry out supplier audits for new and existing suppliers
* Manage Quality Control plans using a risk management based approach
* Implement Quality vision, strategy, policies and processes to improve performance
* Use a corrective action process for non-conformances with internal and supplier issues to drive continuous improvement
* Support with customer complaints and corrective action processes
* Drive forward a culture of continuous improvement and Quality throughout the organisation
*Lead on root cause analysis and corrective action process to address any Quality issues
Requirements:
* A good knowledge of Quality Management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001)
* Proven experience of Quality within a manufacturing environment
* Experience of using Quality tools like 8D/CAPA
* Able to carry out root cause analysis and put in place corrective actions
* A good knowledge of ERP systems
* Able to prepare reports (through analysing and making recommendations)
* Able to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
* Excellent communication skills
