Job Title: Loans Advisor

Location: Rotherham (1 day per week working from home)

Salary: Up to £31,000, realistic OTE £45,000

Hours: 37.5 hour week

We're looking for someone who is confident, driven and naturally customer-focused, someone who enjoys speaking with people, understands how to uncover customer needs and takes pride in delivering the right outcomes. You'll be comfortable working towards targets, managing your own workload and making decisions in a fast-paced environment, while remaining focused on quality and compliance.

The successful candidate will be positive, resilient and open to feedback, with the self-awareness to recognise their strengths and continuously develop. You'll be joining a supportive team that invests in its people, with dedicated coaching, ongoing development and the opportunity to grow your lending expertise and achieve your CeMAP qualification with full support.

Responsibilities for the role of Loans Advisor:

Manage customers from initial enquiry through to completion, delivering an excellent customer journey.
Conduct telephone-based fact finds to understand customer circumstances, needs and objectives.
Provide tailored secured lending advice in line with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Assess affordability, suitability and lending risks to support responsible lending decisions.
Review documentation and progress applications efficiently with lenders and internal teams.
Build great customer relationships through clear, professional communication.
Maintain accurate records and complete compliant suitability summaries.
Achieve individual and team targets while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.
Keep up to date with lender criteria, market developments and regulatory requirements. Experience and skills required for the role of Loans Advisor:

The ability to build rapport, identify needs and manage customer interaction
Success hitting sales/revenue making targets in customer-facing roles (essential).
Experience within financial services, lending, banking, mortgages, insurance or consultative sales
Understanding of lending, affordability assessments or regulated financial products (desirable).
Confident, self-motivated and able to take constrictive feedback and work manage workload independently.
