We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our skilled engineering team, manufacturing high-quality bespoke equipment and components for customers across a range of industries worldwide.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on varied and interesting projects, from prototype builds and specialist fabrications through to equipment repairs and refurbishment work.

The Role

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing precision components and bespoke equipment to a high standard, ensuring all work meets customer specifications, quality standards, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

* Welding and fabricating bespoke components and equipment.

* Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications.

* Carrying out repairs, modifications, and refurbishment work.

* Assisting with prototype builds and development projects.

* Operating workshop equipment safely and effectively.

* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

* Collaborating with colleagues to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Essential

* Previous experience in a Welder/Fabricator role.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* MIG, TIG, and MMA welding experience.

* Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.

* Welding/Fabrication qualifications.

* Experience using workshop equipment, including cutting, drilling, and plasma machinery.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Good organisational and time-management skills.

Desirable

* Welding coding qualifications.

* NDT qualification.

* Forklift licence.

* Mechanical fitting experience.

* Marine engineering background.
