QAQC Lead - Data Centre - Blyth

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced QAQC Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Blyth, Northumberland.

Responsibilities

Quality Management & Compliance

* Lead the implementation and management of the project QA/QC systems, ensuring full compliance with specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all construction phases

Inspection, Testing & Handover Oversight

* Oversee inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and handover processes, ensuring timely completion, accuracy, and alignment with commissioning and client expectations

Cross-Disciplinary Coordination

* Coordinate with civil, structural, and MEP teams to drive a right-first-time culture, proactively identifying risks, resolving non-conformances, and implementing corrective actions

Team Leadership & Performance Management

* Manage and mentor QA/QC engineers and inspectors on site, promoting high standards, accountability, and continuous improvement across all work packages

Client & Stakeholder Interface

* Interface with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure quality objectives are clearly communicated, executed, and delivered in line with critical project milestones

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data Centres

Must be based within a commutable distance of Blyth

Benefits

£80,000 - £100,000 + Package
