Do you have experience supporting pupils with SEND in a mainstream primary setting?
Are you a qualified Primary Teacher who enjoys the flexibility of day-to-day work with the opportunity to secure a longer-term role?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Exeter, seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team from September. The school is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential, and prides itself on providing a supportive atmosphere for both pupils and staff.
The school is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher on a day-to-day supply basis, with the potential for the role to become long-term for the right Primary Teacher. The successful Primary Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum, adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, and confidently support pupils with additional needs where required. SEND experience is preferred, and being a driver would be advantageous due to the location and flexibility across placements.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
Experience teaching within UK Primary Schools
Experience supporting pupils with SEND is preferred
Excellent classroom management skills
A flexible, positive and proactive approach
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
