Duties
* Assemble mechanical components and products using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
* Follow detailed assembly instructions and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction of products
* Inspect assembled parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
* Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor assembly issues and perform adjustments as needed
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
* Assist in the loading, unloading, and movement of materials within the warehouse or production area as required
Experience
* Proven experience in assembly work within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
* Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of how various components fit together effectively
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
* Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
* Ability to read technical drawings or diagrams is beneficial but not mandatory
