Pertemps Education are currently recruiting on behalf of an SEMH Secondary School in Wallington who are looking to appoint enthusiastic and resilient Behaviour Mentors to join their team from September.
This full-time, long-term opportunity is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and are looking to build a rewarding career within education.
The Role
Provide 1:1 and small group behavioural and emotional support.
Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and personal development.
Support teachers in maintaining a calm, structured and productive learning environment.
Help implement behaviour support strategies and individual behaviour plans.
Promote positive behaviour and support students in overcoming barriers to learning.The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with children or young people within a school or educational setting.
Confident, resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive approach and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
A background in sport, coaching, mentoring or youth work would be highly advantageous.What's on Offer?

Competitive daily rate of £110 per day.
Ongoing support from both the school and Pertemps Education.
