A growing construction consultancy in London is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its established residential team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who can lead projects immediately and take full ownership of large-scale residential developments across London.
The Senior Project Manager will deliver housing association and build-to-rent schemes ranging from approximately 150 to 400 units, covering both pre-contract and post-contract stages. This Senior Project Manager role would suit a confident Senior Project Manager with strong residential experience, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision. The successful Senior Project Manager will join a supportive team with a strong pipeline of residential work and genuine opportunities for further progression.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will lead residential projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, housing associations, developers, and wider project stakeholders.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, risk management, project reporting, stakeholder engagement, and overall project delivery.
The Senior Project Manager will chair project meetings, manage multidisciplinary teams, monitor project performance, and ensure schemes are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. There will also be an opportunity for the Senior Project Manager to support business development and client relationship growth where this is of interest.
The Senior Project Manager
The successful Senior Project Manager will have:
Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Strong residential project experience
Experience delivering housing association and/or build-to-rent projects
Experience working on schemes of approximately 150 to 400 units
Strong pre-contract and post-contract delivery experience
The ability to lead projects independently from day one
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
Ideally MRICS, MAPM, or MCIOB, although chartership support can be provided
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and residential project delivery
Excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills
A proactive, organised, and commercially aware approach
