Are you a Quality Engineer with experience working to PED / PE(S)R, ATEX, ISO 9001 or ASME standards, looking for an autonomous role where you'll take ownership of quality systems within a specialist engineering environment?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturer where you'll play a pivotal role in driving quality, compliance and continuous improvement across bespoke, safety-critical mechanical products, whilst working alongside experienced engineering and production teams.

In this varied role, you'll take ownership of non-conformance management, customer complaints and root cause analysis, whilst leading internal compliance audits across PED / PE(S)R and ATEX standards. You'll also support ASME verification activities, produce key project quality documentation, maintain quality systems and work closely with Engineering, Production and Suppliers to ensure the highest manufacturing standards are achieved.

This role suits a Quality Engineer with experience of mechanical engineering products, looking for a technically varied position offering autonomy, responsibility and long-term career stability.

The Role

Managing non-conformances, complaints and root cause analysis
Leading internal audits to PED / PE(S)R, ATEX and ISO 9001 and standards
Producing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans and project documentation
Supporting ASME BPVC material verification and maintaining quality systems for regulated industries
Liaising with Engineering, Production and Suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvements

The Person

Quality Engineer or similar background
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of PED / PE(S)R, ATEX, ASME and/or ISO 9001
Experience working with mechanical products within a manufacturing environment
Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pressure Equipment or similar industry experience is advantageous
