An established, multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Building Surveyor to join its growing Leeds office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected team with a strong pipeline of work across the commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public sectors. You'll enjoy a varied role combining both professional services and project work, with the autonomy to manage your own clients while supporting the development of junior surveyors.
The role:
Delivering a broad range of Building Surveying services across multiple sectors
Carrying out condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical due diligence
Preparing schedules of dilapidations and handling landlord and tenant matters
Managing refurbishment and fit-out projects from inception through to completion
Producing specifications, tender documentation and contract administration
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Supporting and mentoring graduate and assistant surveyors
Working closely with senior colleagues to help develop existing client accounts
About you:
MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
Previous consultancy experience
Strong technical knowledge across both professional and project work
Confident dealing directly with clients and managing your own workload
Experience administering JCT contracts
Keen to mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment
What's on offer:
£55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
