Quantity Surveyor

A well-established construction consultancy is looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to its Newcastle office as the team continues to grow.

The role:

Delivering pre and post contract Quantity Surveying services

Producing cost plans and estimates

Managing procurement and tender processes

Administering NEC and JCT contracts

Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts

Working alongside clients, contractors and design teams

Helping deliver projects from early design through to completion

About you:

Consultancy experience is preferred, although candidates from a main contractor background are encouraged to apply

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar

Good working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts

MRICS qualified or working towards chartership is desirable

Comfortable managing your own workload and building client relationships

£40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
