We're looking for a passionate HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist to join our client’s specialist school, supporting children and young people with neurological, physical and complex additional needs.
Working as part of a highly skilled trans-disciplinary team, you'll help students develop the independence, confidence and life skills they need to succeed both in school and beyond.
What You'll Do
Deliver individual and group occupational therapy programmes.
Assess functional skills and develop personalised therapy plans.
Recommend specialist equipment and environmental adaptations.
Support seating, moving and handling, and eating and drinking plans.
Work closely with teachers, families and external professionals.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and staff training.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Occupational Therapy.
HCPC Registration.
Experience supporting people with neurological impairments.
Excellent communication and assessment skills.
Desirable: Experience working with children and young people, Sensory Integration, hand splinting, RCOT membership, and knowledge of specialist equipment.
