Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
Hours: Rotating 2 Shift Pattern (6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm)

A leading steel processing company in Dudley is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its established maintenance team. The RoleAs a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on plant machinery.
Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Complete welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs.
Perform oxy-acetylene burning and bench fitting.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and overhead cranes where required.
About You
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering.
Time-served apprenticeship preferred.
Previous mechanical maintenance experience within heavy industry or manufacturing.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
£40,000–£45,000 including shift allowance.
Overtime available.
33 days holiday (including shutdown periods).
