Interim SENCo (Across two Primary Schools, West London based)
Contract: September 2026 – July 2027
Working Pattern: Full-time preferred (5 days)
We are seeking an experienced Interim SENCo to provide SEND leadership across two nursery settings located within a short walk of each other, in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for an established SENCo to make an immediate impact, supporting children aged 2–5 with a wide range of additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead SEND provision across both nursery settings.
Manage EHCPs, annual reviews and statutory SEND processes.
Build strong relationships with families through home visits and ongoing support.
Work closely with external professionals including Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Local Authority teams.
Support staff with SEND strategies, interventions and inclusive practice.
Monitor provision, maintain accurate SEND records and oversee transition arrangements to primary school.
Deliver regular SEND briefings and identify staff development needs.
The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in a similar setting and have a deep understanding of SEND processes. NASENCo qualification is desirable but not essential. This is a non-teaching role, allowing the successful candidate to focus on SEND leadership, staff support and ensuring outstanding provision for children with additional needs.
Interviews will take place ASAP, with a view to start in September. Paid on a day rate for the duration of the contract.
