Academics are currently recruiting for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Aylesbury from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities
Support teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons across the primary age range.
Lead whole-class teaching in the absence of the class teacher where appropriate.
Deliver targeted intervention groups and provide additional support for pupils who need it.
Contribute to the planning and preparation of engaging lessons.
Support the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.The Successful Candidate Will Have
HLTA status or relevant qualifications and experience.
Experience working within a primary school setting.
A good understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is welcomed, particularly for teachers looking for a role offering greater work-life balance and reduced planning and assessment responsibilities.What the School Offers
