Workshop Fitter
Are you an experienced fitter, or have you recently completed an apprenticeship in a relevant mechanical or electrical discipline? Are you looking for a better work-life balance and a stable, permanent role within a supportive and well-established company?
We are working with a growing tool hire business across London and the Home Counties
The Role
As part of the workshop team, you will be responsible for fault-finding, repairs and maintenance of a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, including:
110V and cordless power tools
* Site equipment
* Petrol and 2-stroke equipment
* Diesel plant
* Air tools
* Hydraulic equipment
* Mechanical equipmentAbout You
You will have previous experience working with mechanical and/or electrical equipment, including diesel, petrol, hydraulics, pneumatics or electrics, or have recently completed a relevant apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
Experience may also include plant, power tools, powered access, generators, pumps, lifting equipment, or similar mechanical environments.
You will also bring:
* A strong work ethic with honesty and integrity
* A practical, problem-solving approach
* Good attention to detail and ability to multi-task
* A positive attitude and sense of humour
* Strong organisation and reliability
Hours
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm
Salary
£30,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)
