About the Role
As a Functional Skills Maths Lecturer at Coleg Cambria, you will:
Deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills Maths lessons to learners across a range of programmes,
Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,
Support learners in developing their numeracy, problem-solving, and practical mathematical skills,
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment,
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners achieve successful outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
Experience teaching Maths or Functional Skills within Further Education, training, or a related setting,
Strong knowledge of Functional Skills Maths qualifications and curriculum requirements,
Excellent communication and organisational skills,
A passion for supporting and developing learners of all abilities,
A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
