SEND Teaching Assistant - Level 2 / Level 3- Birmingham B73

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a strong and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school on a 4 days per week basis.

This role involves supporting pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). The successful candidate must be confident providing personal care, managing challenging behaviours and supporting pupils with a range of complex additional needs. This is a hands-on role that requires patience, confidence and a proactive approach.

The successful candidate will have:

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Previous SEND school experience.
Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and SLD.
Confidence providing personal care.
Strong behaviour management skills.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one at your own cost.

Please note: No training will be provided. Applicants must already have relevant SEND experience and be able to hit the ground running.
