We’re looking for a dedicated, experienced, energetic, and caring Pastoral and Behaviour Lead to join our fantastic team!

What you’ll be doing:

Support pupils, their families and staff to maintain excellent standards of behaviour
Support pupils, their families and staff to maintain excellent standards of attendance and engagement
Support members of the school community attain positive wellbeing and mental health
Communicate effectively with families and stakeholders, effectively enlisting their support
Adhering to the school’s systems, structures, policies and procedures.
Actively supporting school activities where required, including attending educational trips, extra-curricular activities and parents’ evenings, which may require some out-of-hours availability.
What we’re looking for:

Qualification to level three to include GCSE English and maths
Evidence of CPD.
Knowledge of current issues in education.
Experience of successful implementation of support strategies
Experience of data analysis and planning interventions/actions as a result
Work effectively with vulnerable pupils
Effective communication with, and support of parents and carers
Excellent behaviour management skills.
Excellent inter-personal skills.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience of managing colleagues or influencing their practice in support of pupils

Opened in 2014, Arc School Ansley is an independent specialist day school in Ansley, a lovely small village, for children and young people aged between 11 and 17.

Our experienced team is dedicated to providing outstanding education to children and young people a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition, who may have many associated needs such as; social, emotional and mental health needs, communication needs and cognition and learning needs.

Arc School Ansley is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting children and we expect all colleagues to share this commitment. We will do everything possible to ensure that only those who are suitable to work with children are recruited to work for us.
