Stairlift Engineer | Mobility Equipment Engineer
A well established engineering company is looking for an experienced Stairlift Engineer to join their growing team, covering London and the Home Counties.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience installing, servicing or repairing stairlifts who is looking to join a stable business that genuinely values its engineers.
Alongside stairlifts, you may also work on a range of mobility and patient handling equipment including hoists, profiling beds and bathing equipment across private homes, care homes and hospitals.
The Role
Installation of stairlifts and mobility equipment
Servicing, maintenance and repairs on existing installations
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
Working across private homes, care homes and healthcare environments
Completing service reports and relevant paperwork
Providing excellent customer service on every visit
About You
Previous experience working on stairlifts is highly desirable
Experience as a Stairlift Engineer, Mobility Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Installation Engineer
Good mechanical and electrical fault finding skills
Comfortable working independently in a field based role
Strong customer facing and communication skills
Full UK driving licenceEngineers with experience on mobility equipment including hoists, patient lifts, ceiling track systems, profiling beds or bathing equipment are also encouraged to apply.
Package
£32,000 to £36,000 basic salary
Overtime and on call payments taking earnings to £40,000+ OTE
Travel time paid
Company van
Tools and specialist equipment provided
Ongoing training and manufacturer development
