MEICA Project Manager – Water Industry
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join one of the UK's leading specialist MEICA contractors, delivering a major programme of works in the Water Industty..
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of AMP8 projects and long-term career progression.
The Role
Reporting into the Contracts Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of water treatment projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing multiple MEICA projects throughout the full project lifecycle
* Leading site delivery teams, subcontractors and suppliers
* Managing project programmes, costs and commercial performance
* Liaising closely with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
* Producing and reviewing project documentation, RAMS and programmes
* Monitoring project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
* Managing procurement of materials and subcontract packages
* Overseeing commissioning, testing and project handover
* Driving continuous improvement across project delivery
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with Project Managers who have experience delivering projects within:
* Water & Wastewater
* Utilities
* Process Engineering
* Heavy Industrial
* Petrochemical or similar regulated environments
Ideally you'll have:
* Previous experience delivering MEICA or M&E projects
* Strong understanding of NEC contracts
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* SMSTS
* Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil)
* EUSR Water Hygiene
* First Aid (desirable)
