Van Driver Car Parts

Driver Hire Uxbridge is currently recruiting Van Drivers for our client based in Hayes, a leading Auto Parts Store.

This role involves manual handling - transporting vehicle stock and parts between showrooms and service centres, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

PAYE £14.30 to £17.00 per hour (including holiday pay)

This role is on a Temporary adhoc basis – shifts are not guaranteed

Duties of a Van Driver:

* Transport automotive stock, vehicle parts, and accessories between showrooms and service centre

* Complete scheduled deliveries and collections in a timely and professional manner

* Load and unload vehicle parts safely, ensuring goods are handled with care

* Check deliveries against paperwork and report any discrepancies or damage

* Provide a professional service when dealing with customers, showroom and workshop staff

* Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, carry out daily vehicle safety checks

* Comply with all road traffic regulations and company health & safety procedures

Van Driver Requirements:

* Full UK Cat B manual driving licence 2+ years

* No more than 6 points (no DR, DD, TT, IN or MS90 endorsements)

* Age 25+ for insurance purposes

* Previous commercial van driving experience preferred (references required)

* Good geographical knowledge of London and the surrounding areas

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

* Good communication skills and attention to detail
