We are looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our warehouse operation. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, leading from the front, and ensuring operational excellence across all warehouse activities.

Managing a team of up to 10 Warehouse Executives, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and despatched efficiently. You'll also oversee goods-in processes, support production schedules for bespoke orders, and work closely with internal departments to ensure the warehouse continues to operate safely and effectively.

Our client is in a picturesque rural location, therefore applicants must have their own transport.

Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Manager

* Work alongside the team when required, supporting picking, packing, replenishment, goods receiving and despatch activities.

* Allocate workload and manage priorities to ensure customer orders are fulfilled within agreed deadlines.

* Coordinate the production schedule, ensuring orders are completed accurately and dispatched on time.

* Oversee equipment project orders, ensuring stock availability, assembly requirements and deliveries are effectively planned.

* Manage incoming deliveries, checking stock, resolving discrepancies and ensuring products are booked in and stored correctly.

* Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, stock checks and variance investigations.

* Monitor warehouse performance, workload and productivity, adjusting resources to meet changing operational demands.

* Ensure the warehouse remains organised, safe and fully compliant with health and safety procedures.

* Liaise with Operations, Customer Service and Sales teams regarding stock availability, delivery schedules and operational issues.

* Produce regular reports covering warehouse performance, stock integrity and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

* Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or Warehouse Manager position.

* A strong background in warehouse operations, including goods-in, inventory management, order fulfilment and despatch.

* Experience leading and developing warehouse teams to achieve operational targets.

* Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

* Strong communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively across different departments.

* A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

* Good knowledge of warehouse health and safety practices and safe working procedures.

* Experience using warehouse management, inventory or ERP systems.

* Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

* A positive attitude towards continuous improvement and adapting to changing business needs.

Only suitable candidates will be directly contacted about this position, and we will not store or process the data of candidates in any way unless consent has been obtained
