Transport Manager

Annual Salary: £48,000 - £50,000
Location: West Yorkshire (with some UK travel)
Job Type: Full-time, site-based with occasional work from homeDay-to-day of the role:

Oversee transport planning, routing, and daily delivery operations.
Lead, manage, and develop driver and planning teams.
Ensure compliance with transport legislation, driver hours, and health & safety standards.
Manage fleet maintenance, servicing, and relationships with external providers.
Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain high service levels and resolve any delivery or customer issues.
Support consistent transport operations across all sites.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance.
Experience managing transport operations in a multi-drop environment.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with fleet management and maintenance.
Transport Manager CPC is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.Benefits:
