Contract type: Temp – perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement

Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only, 08:00 – 16:00

Unique School Solutions are supporting a school in the S2 area of Sheffield, who are needing an Art and Music teacher.

You will be planning, delivering and marking schemes of work for Key Stage 3 and 4 students who are deemed vulnerable, at risk or have behavioural difficulties, in a specialist setting, with support from teaching assistants. You will be expected to carry out all standard duties including parents evenings, internal and external meetings etc.

The role is to start in September 2026, on a full-time basis and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:

* PGCE in Secondary Music or Art

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Previous UK National Curriculum teaching experience for at least 6 months in the last 2 years

* Previous experience of working in a Pupil Referral Unit or Young Offenders Institute would be beneficial, but not essential

* The ability to build rapport with learners from a diverse background and with a range of needs
