A high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their department with the appointment of a HSE Manager.

As HSE Manager, you will oversee the implementation of health, safety and environmental policies within the company. Develop strategies to promote a safety culture, reduce occupational risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. Identify risk areas, assess incidents, and propose corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

Working from their facility in Warwickshire, the HSE Manager will be responsible for:

* Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments and actions for all work equipment and operations, ensure actions are completed, and utilise on-site trained personnel to carry out risk assessments.

* Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.

* Co-ordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.

* Establish a full programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits and checks.

* Establish and deliver a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the Company.

* Advise on suitable PPE and give or obtain relevant training/instruction on use.

* Liaise with external health & safety consultants in the provision of training programmes and health and safety services.

* Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation and communicate relevant changes to the business.

* Lead the monthly HSE meetings and report on relevant health & safety matters. Liaise with suppliers i.e. Insurers, solicitors etc.…

* Provision of advice to managers/supervisors.

* Review H&S investigations and provide guidance as necessary.

* Experience in formulating, implementing and revising H&S policies and procedures

* Monitor and review with relevant stakeholders company processes to ensure that they conform to total quality standards and that there is a process of continuous improvement.

Experience of at least 3 years required in a similar role and NEBOSH qualified.
