We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our skilled team, producing high precision components from billets and castings for our products serving a variety of industries.

Maintenance Engineer (CNC / Production)
£40,000 - £45,000 plus bonus and overtime

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our production equipment, CNC machines, and various facilities across our four sites located within a 5-mile radius in the Farnham area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of tasks, providing an engaging and challenging work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of machinery and site assets.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to minimise production downtime and optimise equipment performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans, ensuring the longevity and efficiency of machinery and other systems.
Utilise your expertise in fault finding to diagnose and rectify control system issues.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities, including electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other infrastructure components.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety throughout the organisation.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialised repairs and maintenance activities when necessary.
Keep detailed documentation of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks, using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Skills & Experience

Minimum of HNC or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, FANUC, HEIDENHAIN, MATSUURA, NAKAMURA, QUASAR, DOOSAN.
Familiarity with basic building maintenance tasks, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repair work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors.

Early finish every Friday
Overtime available at enhanced rates OT @ 1.25
