We are currently seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join a reputable main dealer in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PDI Technician to work within a busy fleet department, ensuring vehicles are prepared to the highest standards before delivery.
Benefits:
Competitive basic salary with OTE of £43,000+
Monday to Friday working, 40 hours per week
No weekend working
31 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service

Supportive and friendly working environmentDuties of a PDI Technician:
Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
Performing collection inspections prior to customer handover
Conducting minor servicing and mechanical repairs as required
Fitting accessories to vehicles when necessary as a PDI Technician
Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and company standards
Identifying and reporting any additional repair or safety issues
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment, adhering to health and safety protocolsRequirements of a PDI Technician:
Previous workshop experience
Ability to conduct PDIs accurately and efficiently
Good understanding of vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Positive attitude and effective team working skills
Full UK manual driving licence
