ServiceNow Service Mapping specialist, £470 per day inside IR35

6 months initially, Coventry & Remote Working

Bench IT require a ServiceNow Service Mapping specialist to support the mapping of application services within ServiceNow ITOM. The resource will work with Application Owners, Architects and Infrastructure teams to analyse application dependencies and create accurate end-to-end service maps aligned to the ServiceNow CSDM model. The successful candidate will have the skills and experience detailed below.

*This position is hybrid working 1 day per week working in Coventry with the remaining time working from home*

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse application architectures, infrastructure dependencies, credentials and access requirements.
• Design and build Service Maps for in-scope application services.
• Configure and modify Service Mapping patterns where required.
• Define and validate relationships between Business Services, Business Applications, Application Services, Technical Services and Infrastructure CIs.
• Work with application teams to validate service dependencies and map accuracy.
• Support testing and remediation of Service Mapping issues.
• Ensure service maps meet agreed acceptance criteria and provide visibility through ServiceNow Dependency Maps and Unified Maps.
• Expected Outcome Delivery of approved end-to-end service maps that provide clear visibility of relationships between infrastructure, applications and business services, enabling accurate impact analysis and faster issue resolution.

Required Experience

• Strong ServiceNow ITOM and Service Mapping experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB and CSDM.
• Knowledge of application dependency mapping and service modelling.
• Experience creating and customising Service Mapping patterns.
• Ability to interpret application and infrastructure architectures and translate them into ServiceNow service maps.
