Java Developer - Front Office Risk Technology

We're partnering with a leading financial services firm seeking a Java Developer with 2-5 years' experience to join their Front Office Risk Technology team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working on business-critical applications, collaborating directly with risk stakeholders and gaining exposure to Front Office trading environments. You'll be involved in the development, enhancement and support of risk platforms, working on high-impact systems that support key business decisions.

What We're Looking For

• Strong commercial Java development experience (2-5 years).
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience within financial services, banking, trading or capital markets.
• Exposure to Risk systems, Risk technology or Risk platforms.
• Experience working closely with business users, risk teams, traders or quants.
• AWS knowledge (ECS, Lambda, S3 or similar) is highly desirable
• Understanding of CI/CD, testing and modern software engineering practices.

Ideal Candidate

Candidates are likely to come from a background similar to developers who have worked on trading, pricing, market data or risk applications within financial services. Strong Java development skills combined with experience supporting production systems and working directly with stakeholders will be highly valued
