Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:

Provide 1:1 support as a Learning Support Assistant
Support small groups of pupils as a Learning Support Assistant
Work with children with autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs as a Learning Support Assistant
Assist class teachers and SENCOs as a Learning Support Assistant
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation as a Learning Support Assistant
Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment as a Learning Support Assistant

Requirements for a Learning Support Assistant:

Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or supporting children with additional needs
A caring, patient and flexible approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of behaviour support strategies
A genuine passion for helping children succeed
