Luma Education Recruitment is working in partnership with an impressive specialist school in Rugby, Warwickshire, seeking a committed and resilient Primary Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent, making it ideal for teachers looking for stability and career progression.

Whether you're an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream Primary Teacher looking to transition into specialist education, full support and training will be provided.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual learning needs

Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes learning and emotional wellbeing

Build strong relationships with pupils, helping them develop confidence, resilience and independence

Use positive behaviour management strategies to support pupils with SEMH and additional needs

Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team

Monitor progress, celebrate achievements and contribute to EHCP targets where appropriate

Help create an inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within UK primary schools

A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN, SEMH or additional needs

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Patient, resilient and adaptable approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
