SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full-Time – Specialist School – Sheffield

We are currently looking to recruit a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to work 5 days per week in a specialist school in Sheffield.

This is a full-time role supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide both one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils to engage with learning, develop positive relationships, and achieve their potential.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEN, or challenging behaviour.
A calm, patient and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
The role offers:

Full-time hours (Monday to Friday).
