I’m working with an engineering training provider in Hull who are looking to bring an experienced Mechanical Engineer off the tools and into a training role OR an experienced teacher.
The position is mainly workshop-based, delivering practical training to Level 3 engineering apprentices across areas such as:
PPM & reactive maintenance
Lathes & milling machines
Hydraulics & pneumatics
Safe use of hand tools
General mechanical maintenance practices Monday to Friday role based mainly in Hull, with occasional travel to other training centres when needed.
No previous teaching experience required — full training, teaching qualifications and support provided.
Salary between £39,000 - £41,000 plus strong annual leave entitlement, pension and additional benefits.
Ideal background:
Level 3 qualified in Mechanical Engineering
Industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
Strong hands-on engineering background
Someone who enjoys mentoring/supporting others
