Location: Salisbury Area
Salary: £30,000
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
Are you a Fabric Engineer looking for a stable Monday to Friday role within a secure and specialist environment?
We're recruiting for a Fabric Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management team supporting a highly secure site in the Salisbury area.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong building fabric background who enjoys a varied maintenance role, working as part of an established engineering team.
The Role
*
Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance
*
Complete general building repairs and maintenance tasks
*
Undertake basic carpentry, plumbing and patch repairs
*
Repair doors, fixtures, fittings and general building fabric
*
Complete inspections and report any defects
*
Support the wider engineering team with day-to-day site requirements
*
Maintain accurate records and follow health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
*
Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Fabric Technician, Maintenance Technician or Handyperson
*
Strong knowledge of general building maintenance
*
Experience within commercial buildings or Facilities Management environments
*
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Willingness to obtain BPSS security clearance
