An established and respected manufacturing business in Doncaster is looking to recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful company that values quality, safety, and craftsmanship.
If you have experience spraying commercial vehicles, trailers, industrial equipment, or in a manufacturing or body shop environment, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role
As a Paint Sprayer, you'll be responsible for preparing and spraying trailer chassis and components to a high standard, ensuring every product meets strict quality and durability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
Applying 2K primers, topcoats, and lacquers using air-assisted spray equipment.
Carrying out quality inspections, including wet and dry film thickness (WFT/DFT) checks.
Completing touch-ups and ensuring a high-quality finish.
Cleaning and maintaining spray guns, equipment, and spray booths.
Following all health & safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.
Working collaboratively within the production team to meet daily targets. About You
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
At least 3 years' experience as a Paint Sprayer within manufacturing, commercial vehicles, trailers, or an automotive body shop.
Experience using 2K paint systems, air-assisted spray equipment, pressure pots, and suction-fed spray guns.
Excellent attention to detail with pride in producing a high-quality finish.
A strong understanding of health & safety and safe working practices.
A reliable and positive approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. What's on Offer
