Teamforce Labour is currently recruiting for experienced Groundworker / Kerb Layers for an immediate start on a major civil engineering project in Barrow-in-Furness (LA13).
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with one of the UK's leading civil engineering contractors.
The role will involve kerb laying, road construction and installation works, along with operating Dumper and Roller plant machinery. NRSWA Street Works accreditation is preferred but not essential.
Scope of Works
Kerb laying and edging works
Road construction and installation
Operating a Forward Tipping Dumper
Operating a Ride-on Roller
General groundworks and finishing works
Working safely and efficiently as part of the site teamRequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
A valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (preferred)
Valid CPCS or NPORS (CSCS Logo) Dumper & Roller certification (Essential)
Street Works Operative (NRSWA) qualification (preferred but not essential)
A minimum of 5 years' experience in groundworks, kerb laying, and road construction
Proven ability to operate plant machinery safely and competently
Two recent work references
An up-to-date CVAbout You
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail
Experienced in kerb laying and highway/civil engineering works
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
