CNC Miller (Fanuc Controls)
Location: Fife,
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent (Temp-to-Perm) (Working 2 Shift Rotation)
Salary: £19PH not including shift allowance for back shift
Our client is a well-established aerospace engineering manufacturer based in Fife. Known for
precision engineering and high-quality standards, they are expanding their machining team
and seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join them on a temp-to-perm basis.
What you will be doing?
* Set, operate, and program CNC milling machines (Fanuc Controls).
* Produce precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Carry out quality checks using measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, CMM if
applicable).
* Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine parameters as needed.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
* Work collaboratively with the engineering and quality teams.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller (minimum 2 years preferred).
* Strong working knowledge of Fanuc control systems.
* Experience in aerospace, precision engineering, or similar high-tolerance
environments.
* Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (desirable but not essential).
